The International Film Festival in Berlin is already in full swing – but besides film, food & drink are also in the spotlight from 12 to 17 February 2012. 'Trust in Taste' is the motto of the 6th Culinary Cinema taking place at this year's Berlinale . There will be screenings of fifteen films about food and the environment before star chefs Sonja Frühsammer, Michael Kempf, Christian Lohse, Marco Müller and Andoni Luis Aduriz each serve up a menu inspired by the film of the evening.

But that is not the only treat for the palate: the German Wine Institute is once again an official partner of the Berlin International Film Festival and exclusively supplies wines from the German wine regions for the film stars and guests at galas, receptions and in partner lounges at the Berlinale.
