There are many places along Germany's coast where you can enjoy delicious fish dishes – in Bremen, for example. This beautiful Hanseatic city is also hosting the 'fish International' trade fair until 14 February 2012, which provides information on the latest products in the German market, methods of preparing seafood, plus a wealth of other information relevant for the fish industry.

The many restaurants beside the river Weser, which runs through Bremen city centre, are wonderful places to enjoy freshly caught fish while taking in views of the famous Roland statue.
