Germany, land of song!

Germany is home to roughly 60,000 active choirs. These include workplace choirs, police choirs, school and student choirs, church choirs, radio choirs, Bach choirs, jazz choirs, gospel choirs, chamber choirs and singing clubs of all kind. Around one third of all German choirs are exclusively for children. Mixed boy's choirs covering the full range from soprano to baritone are particularly popular.

Regensburg Cathedral Choir is one of the oldest boys' choirs in the world. The Regensburger Domspatzen are official UNICEF ambassadors and European cultural ambassadors – and, of course, a great advert for their home city at the northernmost tip of the Danube.
