Numerous international flagship trade fairs, over 30,000 exhibitors every year, and more than two million visitors to the Munich site alone – Messe München is one of the largest trade fair companies in the world.
In keeping with its slogan 'Connecting Global Competence', Messe München organises leading international trade fairs for industries involved in capital goods, consumer goods and new technologies.
Messe München International operates a global network with specialist trade fairs in Asia, Russia, the Middle East and South America, six associated companies in Europe and Asia, and over 60 foreign representative offices covering more than 90 countries.
As a true global player, Messe München also leads the way in environmental protection and sustainability. It was the first exhibition centre to be awarded the 'energy-efficient business' certificate by the TÜV SÜD specialists. The latest project involves using geothermal energy to heat the buildings. With the aid of the on-site thermoelectric generator, this allows the entire site to be heated using renewable energy.
But environmental protection and sustainability are not only part of day-to-day life at the exhibition centre in Munich, they also provide the focus for a host of international trade fairs including IFAT ENSORGA, BAU, electronica and Intersolar.
