The cycle route promises a cycling adventure between Berlin and Copenhagen that is sure to be anything but boring. Cyclists will head across the water to Denmark via Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

This route to Copenhagen starts off on Schlossplatz square in Berlin and proceeds into the vast expanse of Brandenburg. The paths are mostly tarmac and there will be some traffic along the way. Following the River Havel, Oranienburg und Fürstenberg/Havel are fantastic places to stop off. And anyone needing to cool off should definitely check out the lakes in the Mecklenburg Lake District. Neustrelitz and Güstrow are also worth a visit before it's time to take the ferry to Denmark from Rostock. The cycle route follows the rugged coastline with its white chalk cliffs to Nykøbing and then Møn, before reaching the cyclist's dream city of Copenhagen, where the Little Mermaid statue awaits in the harbour.
