Jagsthausen Castle in Baden-Württemberg was the family seat of Götz von Berlichingen, to whom Goethe dedicated a play, and is now also known as Götzenburg Castle. Every year, Goethe's Götz is brought to life at this authentic location as part of a varied programme of cultural entertainment for all ages. The festival, which runs until 19 August and is now in its 63rd season, turns Jagsthausen Castle into a fantastic stage for world literature.
