Car & Technology Museum, Sinsheim Come face to face with timeless classics.

The Car & Technology Museum in Sinsheim takes visitors on a fascinating journey into the history of the motor car. It also has plenty on offer for plane enthusiasts.

Just off the A6, one hour south of Frankfurt Airport and not far from Heidelberg Castle is the Car & Technology Museum in Sinsheim, the biggest private museum in Europe, which is known far beyond Germany's borders. Set in an indoor area covering more than 30,000m², the museum has more than 3,000 exhibits from the first motor cars to Formula 1 racers. Over 300 classic cars give a representative cross-section of every automotive brand and era. Unbeatable highlights include the classic Maybach and Bugatti exhibits. The incredible aviation exhibition features 50 aircraft including Air France's supersonic passenger jet Concorde and the Russian Tupolev TU-144. Both walk-in exhibits can be visited on the museum roof. The museum also houses Germany's first IMAX 3D film theatre which puts audiences at the heart of the action. The 4-star Hotel Sinsheim is located right next to the museum.
