Baden-Württemberg is celebrating Wittelsbach Year in 2013, commemorating the aristocratic family that helped shaped today's federal state in terms of art treasures but also food and drink. Visitors can learn about the influence of the Wittelsbach dynasty at various exhibitions and other events in over 40 towns and cities in south-west Germany.
