For ten years now, Theater Vorpommern (Western-Pomeranian Theatre) has hosted a programme of high-calibre culture against the picturesque backdrop of Eldena abbey ruins near Greifswald in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This season of wide-ranging plays continues until 1 July 2012. A puppet show version of 'The Jungle Book' will delight younger audiences, while grown-ups can look forward to Mozart's opera 'Idomeneo' with music by the Western-Pomeranian Philharmonic Orchestra.
