Fraport AG is amongst the leading companies in the international airport business. With Frankfurt Airport, it operates one of the world's most important air transportation hubs. Frankfurt Airport welcomed 57.5 million passengers and handled 2.1 million metric tons of cargo in 2012. It offers excellent connections to about 264 destinations in 113 countries worldwide. FRA consistently ranks as the most punctual major European hub and has become a high performance/quick change airport where 54% of all passengers transfer to connecting flights. To cope with its steady traffic growth, FRA is strongly increasing its air- and landside capacity by constructing a new passenger terminal in 2017.
Additionally, Frankfurt Airport connects air traffic with the German high-speed railway network. FRA is the ideal starting point for trips around the nation and Europe as a whole. German metropolises like Hamburg, Munich or Cologne can be easily reached by train, as well as other European capitals such as Paris, Amsterdam or Zurich.
Frankfurt Airport offers 38 nonstop connections per week between India and Germany (summer schedule 2012). Currently, Air India and Lufthansa provide a total seat capacity of about 23,000 seats per week between Frankfurt and international airports in India (Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Goa).
Short Connex Service Center (SCSC)
FRA´s Short Connex Service Center (SCSC) is able to ensure passengers a connecting time between 30 to 60 minutes. SCSC is located in Terminal 1 at Gate B52. Upon request, the passenger can benefit from accelerated immigration and emigration processes, including customs and security checks, as well as direct baggage transport. This ensures that customers arriving at FRA on delayed flights will still manage to catch their connection.
Frankfurt is not only available by air travel, but intermodally linked to various cities throughout Germany and Europe. Thus, Frankfurt Airport is perfectly connected to your customers and suppliers.
Airport Conference Centre (ACC)
Centrally located at the heart of Europe and Germany, the Airport Conference Center is optimally accessible by car, train, domestic and/or international flight.

WLAN/Internet Terminals
FRA offers 30-minute-long free WLAN Internet access to passengers and visitors. With just a few clicks users can go online to access their E-Mails and other information via the Internet. How does it work? Users at Frankfurt Airport simply activate the browser on their laptop or mobile device. By entering any address, users automatically land on a registration page where they can request an access code. Shortly afterward, the code is sent to the user’s mobile phone. This code allows the user to access Hotspots at FRA to log on to the Internet. The free W-LAN session at Frankfurt Airport is limited to once per day and automatically ends after 30 minutes. Of course, users can continue surfing by buying a new access code with their credit card – only €4.95 per hour for additional WLAN Internet access.
