The Documentation Centre at the Nazi Party Rally Grounds Nuremberg

The Documentation Centre on the grounds where the Nazi party held its rallies between 1933 and 1938 provides an in-depth insight into the workings of National Socialism.

The Nazis held their party rallies in Nuremberg between 1933 and 1938 and the remains of huge buildings here give us an idea of the setting of these propaganda events to this day. The exhibition inside the Documentation Centre at the Nazi Party Rally Grounds paints a detailed picture of the tyranny of Nazi rule and the history of the Nuremberg rallies. And there are plenty of other ways to learn more at the study forum. Boards spread across the four-kilometre Nazi party rally site inform visitors about its history.

The permanent exhibition called "Fascination and Force" deals with the causes and consequences of the Nazi dictatorship and there is a particular focus on any events with a link to Nuremberg. This chapter in Nuremberg's history is also covered at the Nuremberg Trials Memorial in Courtroom 600 at the Palace of Justice, where the main war criminals were put on trial in 1946. Opening times: Monday to Friday: 9 am–6 pm, Saturday and Sunday: 10 am–6 pm
