Bad Waldsee in the heart of Upper Swabia, a quality-certified mud spa, thermal spa and hydrotherapy resort in an idyllic setting between two lakes, combines three types of therapy.
Visitors are offered a broad spectrum of therapies and treatments at two thermal baths, several clinics and rehabilitation centres, and hotels and guesthouses with their own wellness and vitality programmes.
Mud, hydrotherapy, thermal baths
Peat baths, mud packs and pool exercises are here offered. At this 'premium class' hydrotherapy resort, the holistic treatments designed by Sebastian Kneipp are used to improve physical fitness and strengthen the cardiovascular system. Medical treatments can be combined to help rheumatism, joint and muscle disorders, nervous exhaustion, disorders of the digestive system and for convalescence. Many of these therapies take place at the Waldsee-Therme health centre, which conveniently brings together a treatment centre, a rehabilitation centre with two clinics and a pool complex under one roof. Here the thermal waters containing fluoride and sulphur bubble up from Upper Swabia's hottest springs at a temperature of almost 65°C.
Relaxation and outdoor activities
Visitors can also enjoy outdoor activities including a round of golf, a bike excursion to local churches and chapels or a spot of rowing on the lake. Bad Waldsee's idyllic setting on the edge of the Allgäu opens up many exciting opportunities.
