The town of Ingolstadt celebrates its annual Herzogsfest this year until 22 July 2012. Travelling players, musicians and knights all put in an appearance at this historical festival, and there is fun to be had for the whole family at the medieval market held around the New Palace. Delicious food and drink made to historical recipes complete the experience – a true taste of the Middle Ages!
