The Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart celebrates its ninth anniversary on 24 May. Its richly varied exhibition covering the history of one of the world's most prestigious automotive brands will appeal to people of all ages.

If you enjoy the great outdoors, you might also like to visit the Swabian-Franconian Forest Nature Park. Located just outside Stuttgart, it is a landscape of rugged ravines and tranquil forests. It also has a superb network of trails, making it easy to explore on foot or by bike.

From May to October 2015, Hannover Zoo is inviting you and all the family to join in its anniversary celebrations. The Rheinradeln cycling event will be taking place along an idyllic route between Oppenheim and Worms on 3 May. The old B9 road, which will be closed to cars on the Sunday, will provide the setting for this fun and environmentally friendly festival for cyclists, runners and inline skaters. All the family will find something to enjoy in the varied programme.
