With over 200 fairground stalls, a whole host of rides, great attractions and around 700,000 visitors, the traditional Heinerfest fair in Darmstadt is one of the biggest city-centre festivals in Germany. More than 100 free events are taking place between 28 June and 2 July 2012, culminating in a spectacular firework display.
