Hockenheimring

Opened in 1932, the Hockenheimring is one of the signature attractions of the Rhine-Neckar region. It presents international motor sport at the highest level in the form of Formula One racing and the German Touring Car Masters (DTM).

The Nitrolympx regularly feature breathtaking dragster duels, while the International German Motorbike Championships (IDM) offer thrilling motorcycle races. Classic car races like the Hockenheim Historic – In Memory of Jim Clark and the Hockenheim Classic set the hearts of vintage car lovers racing. The historic racecourse also stages open-air concerts. Apart from these event highlights, the 4.574 kilometre Grand Prix circuit is a venue for driving safety courses, test drives by the automotive industry, product launches and a range of high-quality driving experiences throughout the year.
