Ruhpolding Leisure Park – a magical fairytale world that's so much fun!

Ruhpolding Leisure Park is an enchanting fantasy world for children, set at the heart of an idyllic mountain forest amid the beautiful unspoilt scenery of the Chiemgau Alps.

The attractions at Ruhpolding Leisure Park include fast-paced dragon rides, the gentle-paced Bavarian Stag Train, Dinosaur Mountain, bumper cars, the Kraxel Max climbing area, the Siegfried dragon ride and Babyland for the little ones. The slide paradise has a steep slide with four lanes, each of which is 50 metres long and at a 60-degree angle – perfect for family races and setting new speed records! After you have walked through the labyrinth of tunnels with various moving mining scenes, you can go in search of crystals at the crystal mine. Riding the crazy bikes with distorted wheels requires a high degree of skill: only those who can display exceptional body control will be able to get pedalling! Little ones are able to let off steam at Babyland, where there is a wide range of play equipment that is perfectly suited to their needs. The slide that passes through a hollow tree and the trampoline are also very popular. Older children will really enjoy the bumper cars and can hurtle around to their hearts' content! The maypole mountain climber game is great fun for all generations. All the main attractions here are under cover, making a visit worthwhile even in bad weather.

Highlights

The fairytale world at Ruhpolding Leisure Park is a real highlight for children. At various stations, the most popular stories are played out using moving figures, some of which are driven by hydropower generated by a mountain stream. Kids can share in the escapades of 'Augustus Who Would Not Have Any Soup', root for the seven young goats or wait for the prince to wake Snow White from her enchanted sleep. You've hardly left the world of witches and princesses when you come across Siegfried's Dragon Ride – a huge dragon that soars over mountains and valleys with 35 people on his back. A ride on the Gipfelstürmer mountain rollercoaster guarantees fun, thrills and plenty of smiling faces. Visitors who want to stop for a short rest or something to eat will find plenty of opportunities to do so. In addition to picnic huts and cafés, there is the Tischlein deck Dich 'Wishing Table' restaurant, which, in addition to serving delicious food, has a fantastic indoor play area where can see your children from all sides.
