The EADS Astrium offers your guests an insight into the latest research and development for the space programme. On an exclusive tour, you watch parts being fitted into Ariane 5 rockets and the Automated Transfer Vehicle (ATV). During the guided tour, participants see scientists at work and discover how technicians on the ground stay in touch with colleagues in space.

After venturing into space, it's back to earth again, or very nearly, to experience the fascination of flying in the Cessna Citation 'CJ1 Plus' training aircraft flight simulator at the Lufthansa Flight Training Center. This flight simulator experience is exclusively available from us. The programme of around three hours starts with a 90-minute briefing, during which visitors are armed with the basics of theory for the simulator flight that follows. In a team of three, you climb into the cockpit with a flying instructor at your side and start a one-hour adventure in the flight simulator.

After a safe landing, you are debriefed about your first attempt at flying and receive a flight certificate and photo.

The dumpling-making seminar initiates participants into the secrets and history of this quintessentially German dish.

Under the supervision of a professional chef, they prepare a three-course Sunday meal in a traditional Thuringian style – with the dumpling as the star of the show, of course. Using carefully selected ingredients and a tried-and-tested recipe, your guests get to cook the region's signature dish.

After practising their new-found culinary skills, participants naturally tuck into their delicious creations together.

Throughout the seminar, guests are entertained by fascinating tales from the life of Carl Wilhelm Ernst Putsche, the famous 'potato priest', who also awards certificates in dumpling-making.
