Lovers of baroque music can enjoy a high-calibre programme of events at the 35th Handel Festival at the State Theatre in Karlsruhe from 17 to 26 February 2012. The main focus this year is the opera 'Alessandro' about the life of Alexander the Great, which was first performed in May 1726. With other performances such as the children's opera 'Dino and the Ark', the festival at the State Theatre offers entertainment for all the family.
