The spa town of Bad Schandau is hosting the fourth Saxony walking festival (Sächsische Wandertage) from 11 to 13 May 2012. The guided walks on offer are a wonderful way for the whole family to explore the region. There are wonderful views of the Elbe valley and surrounding peaks on a network of marked trails covering more than 1,200km.
