Destination Germany is famous for its beautiful Christmas markets, which every year attract visitors from around the world in search of the ultimate festive experience.

At Christmas time Quedlinburg is transformed into a magical winter wonderland. Visitors have until 23 December 2012 to explore the beautifully decorated stalls set against the picturesque backdrop of the 1,300 half-timbered buildings in the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage town. There are also concerts and exhibitions being held across the town especially for the festive season.
