Embark on a magical journey through Germany and visit the many palaces, parks and gardens. Most famous of all, of course, is Neuschwanstein Castle, the fairytale castle of King Ludwig II.

The Bavarian Department of State-owned Palaces, Gardens and Lakes has now announced longer opening hours for the start of the summer season. The many palaces and castles in Bavaria – such as Herrenchiemsee Palace, Linderhof Palace and Würzburg Residenz Palace – will have extended opening hours until October.
