A true piano legend will be appearing at the Mercatorhalle at the CityPalais in Duisburg on 8 May 2012 at 8pm. Famous concert pianist Daniel Barenboim, who has been a loyal supporter of the Ruhr Piano Festival for many years, providing many musical highlights, will focus this year on the piano compositions of Franz Schubert. The pieces that are being performed were also great favourites of Robert Schumann.
