Germany's thirteen wine regions are each represented by a wine queen, who uses her charm and expertise to promote the wines and the attractions of her area. The 63rd Baden wine queen is Katharina Zimmer, who will represent the Baden wine region over the next twelve months. She had her first public engagement immediately after being crowned – the opening of the wine festival in Freiburg last weekend.
