166. Cannstatter Volksfest (166th Cannstatt Festival)

On the Cannstatt Wasen. Given to the townspeople by Queen Katharina and her husband King Wilhelm I in 1818 after the end of a bad famine, the Cannstatt Festival on the Wasen festival opens its doors to the public every autumn. The festival is one of the nicest and biggest beer festivals in the world.
