Mildenberg Brickworks Centre

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Mildenberg Brickworks Park in Brandenburg was one of the largest brickworks in Europe. After it was closed down in 1990, an important industrial heritage site was created on the old site, which provides exciting insights into 100 years of technical history.

The brickyard reached the peak of its production at the beginning of the 20th century, producing over 700 million bricks a year. In particular, it was necessary to supply the rapid construction boom in the old imperial capital Berlin with building materials.

Today, the 40-hectare adventure and brickworks park, located in the immediate vicinity of the Havel River, is an exciting excursion destination that invites families, technology enthusiasts and nature lovers on an exciting journey of discovery through a hundred years of brickworks and industrial history. Guided tours, multimedia and interactive exhibitions in the museum as well as rides on the brickworks railroad turn industrial culture into a very special live experience. In addition, a large adventure playground with water playground, extensive meadows and small animal enclosures attract visitors. But also a bicycle and go-kart rental as well as numerous special events provide unforgettable moments.
