On 9 March 2012, visitors can look forward to an exceptional film and music experience featuring the Staatskapelle Weimar. The silent film 'Battleship Potemkin' from 1925 will be screened with background music from the European Film Philharmonic Institute. Set in Russia in 1905, the film dramatises the mutiny that occurred on the Russian battleship Potemkin.
