The Wine and Sekt Symposium in Herxheim in the Palatinate is a feel-good wine festival. Ending on 8 July 2012, it takes place in the delightful castle gardens under the shade of trees and offers glorious views of the Rhineland Plain. This is quite simply one of the loveliest wine festivals along the German Wine Route.
