The Christmas market in Wolfenbüttel is an intimate and charming festive tradition that dates back more than 420 years (1584). It takes place on the historical market square in the town centre. How about a delicious mug of glühwein in the enchanting winter forest? Wolfenbüttel's very own Christmas elves, Wölfchen and Büttelchen, host a daily Advent calendar raffle for younger visitors and can take them on a guided fairytale tour with storytime. There is also an arts and crafts market in the historical Kommisse building. Everyone will love the Christmas market in the palace, which has the perfect gift for all.
