The listed carbon neutral convention centre with its eye-catching exposed concrete architecture has been reopened since May 2012 after being fully refurbished in terms of energy efficiency and technical updates.
Modern energy management enables the centre to save 70% of energy through a solar power system, a biogas CHP plant and the first hydrogen oxygen fuel cell in a German convention centre.
The award-winning LED light installation highlights the breathtaking 70s concrete architecture inside and outside the building, stylish lounge furniture and art exhibitions generate a comfortable atmosphere. The contrasts between cold, hard concrete and warm, soft wood combined with the park scenery, the fanciful light sculpture and designer furniture create a unique setting for congresses, business events, concerts or trade fairs.
Alongside the big hall for up to 2,000 guests, we also provide a smaller concert and congress room for 330 people, two bright lounges with direct access to the Wittelsbacher Park and a 1,300 sqm exhibition area. Seven fully equipped smaller meeting rooms are perfect for workshops or press conferences for up to 140 people.
