The Johann Strauss Festival in the modern, cosmopolitan city of Dresden features an exceptional programme of operettas until 20 May 2012. The Strauss classic 'Die Fledermaus' is followed by famous and lesser known works. The concert version of 'Carnival in Rome', presented by German cabaret star Désirée Nick, is a real highlight.
