The Munich Biennale traditionally features several opera premieres and this year's event from 3 to 19 May 2012 is no exception. Loss, love and yearning, fundamental themes of life, provide the central focus. The wide-ranging programme of entertainment also includes concerts by the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra and the Munich Chamber Orchestra as well as projects at several schools.
