Try, buy and be amazed – cocoa beans become chocolate in Cologne

Almost exactly where the Stollwerck factory once produced chocolates and chocolate, visitors can today discover the secrets of sweets. The Schokoladenmuseum Cologne, which, with more than 11 million visitors, is one of the most heavily visited museums in Germany, allows a comprehensive insight into the history and the present day of chocolate and cocoa - and has been doing that for 20 years already. Since 2006, the museum’s in-house chocolate production has been under the direction of the Lindt & Sprüngli company, which is acknowledged as being the world leader in the sector of premium chocolate
