Media of the Reformation - Clash of Religions
The Ansbach chancellor Georg Vogler left the town of Rothenburg an extensive collection of pamphlets from the time of the Reformation when he died in 1550.
This collection dramatically illustrates the bitter religious and cultural battle that raged during the Reformation. The exhibition at the Reichsstadtmuseum will help bring life to these conflicts that featured so heavily in the early print media of the modern age.
