A new temporary exhibition in the Museum for Communication in Frankfurt tells you all you need to know about different youth cultures – think punks, emos and mods – and the messages their 'uniforms' convey. You'll get answers to questions such as how and why trends emerge, who determines what's in and what's out, and how the complex rules of 'fashion' work. The 'Fashion Talks' exhibition, which is on show now until 2 September 2012, sheds light on the strategies pursued by fashion houses and designers, and also invites visitors to get actively involved and do their own bit of designing.
