The visitor area at the television tower on Alexanderplatz in Berlin has been given a new look. The entire area, including the entrance, viewing platform and restaurant, has been remodelled and modernised. The renovations to the tower, which was built in the 1960s, are in keeping with the dynamic development and modernity of the German capital. Its original character has been retained and the warm colours have been incorporated into a modern design. Visitors to Berlin's most prominent landmark can now expect red sofas and a twinkling night sky ceiling as they enjoy traditional East German cuisine.
