From 15 to 20 May 2012, the picturesque town of Boltenhagen is hosting the world championship in the biggest Olympic boat class, the laser. Located between the UNESCO World Heritage towns of Wismar and Lübeck, this Baltic seaside resort in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania promises five days of thrilling sporting action. The first Laser World Championship in Germany is also the last chance to qualify for the 2012 Olympics.
