Young vintners in the German wine regions are coming up with fresh new ways for people to experience wine. On 30 June 2012, for example, the younger wine-growers of the Ahr wine region are hosting their fifth 'Absolute Wine' (Absolut Wein) party. At the ruins of Marienthal Abbey, futuristically illuminated and furnished with a cocktail bar and lounge, visitors can enjoy selected Ahr wines, modern music as well as regional and international cuisine.
