The Landshut Court Music Festival – the European Festival of Early Music – is currently taking place in the small Bavarian town of Landshut, not far from Munich. This year, until 15 July, visitors can enjoy the music of the Netherlands from the Middle Ages to the baroque era, with a focus on the vocal polyphony that was so important in Europe in the 15th and 16th centuries.
