Motor Sport Arena Oschersleben

A total of 3,667 metres in length, the Oschersleben Motorsport Arena's Formula One standard circuit in Saxony-Anhalt stages a number of high-profile racing events, including the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) and the FIA World Touring Car Championship (WTCC).

When the Oschersleben Motorsport Arena opened in 1997, it was Germany's third permanent racetrack. It has since made a name for itself on the international stage, hosting many world and European championship races on both the 3.696km-long track and its go-kart course. It is also a venue for concerts and other major events, making the arena in the Magdeburg Börde area a great advert for the town of Oschersleben and the surrounding region. Even when no racing is taking place, the arena offers a wide range of activities. Saxony-Anhalt's first driving safety centre is located here, and there is also a four-star hotel with an excellent restaurant, so you can indulge yourself off the track as well as on. The events department regularly organises driver safety courses, passenger rides with professional drivers, formula and touring car courses as well as off-road training on the nearby off-road track, where you can put your off-road vehicle or SUV to the test on steep slopes, steps and streams in an area of around ten hectares.
