  • A row of historical half-timbered buildings can be seen towering over the harbour basin in Stade on a sunny day. On the left is a bridge to the quayside from which the picture is being taken. To the right of this, a wide set of steps leads down to the water. Anchored in the harbour basin is an small old wooden sailboat. The half-timbered buildings are four to five storeys high and packed closely together. They are almost all made of red bricks.

  • This watermill in Hopsten looks as if it is in the heart of the forest. On each side of the small stream is a half-timbered building with a tiled roof. A wooden bridge spans the stream. The mill wheel is attached to the house on the right. Rays of sunshine are shining down onto the water through the leaves of the trees.

  • A wooden bascule bridge that is painted white spans a narrow canal. A sign indicates that it is only for pedestrians and cyclists. Immediately behind the bridge is a windmill that has a thatched upper section with four sails and a walled bottom section with a green door. The sails of the windmill form an X. Next to the windmill on the right is a long house made from red bricks. The canal is lined with leafy trees.

  • The late-afternoon sun is shining on a vineyard. The branch of a tree cuts across the picture from right to left in front of the observer. In the middle of the picture is a gate. To the left is a vineyard that slopes down towards the riverbank. It belongs to Hornberg Castle, which means it is part of the world's second-oldest working winery. In the distance, the waters of the Neckar river glisten in the sunlight. On the far shore is another mountain ridge.
