The Leipzig Lakes sports association is inviting walking enthusiasts to don their walking boots and explore the beautiful countryside around Leipzig on the seven lakes walk (Sieben-Seen-Wanderung). The ninth edition of this walking extravaganza takes place from 4 to 6 May 2012. There's something for all ages – from a short 4km route to a 104km trek. The seven lakes walk has also maintained a tradition of informality to make it easier for people to get to know each other.
