The eight loops through the flat countryside of the Lower Fläming region and the Baruther Glacial Valley to the south of Berlin are ideal for leisurely tours. And there are no end of places just waiting to be explored in the local area.

Spanning some 230 kilometres in total, the traffic-free Flaeming Skate passes through woods, meadows and fields. The path made from premium tarmac measures between two and three metres in width. What better way could there be to explore picturesque villages and towns? Active holiday adventures out in nature and leisure activities abound here just a stone's throw from Berlin. At the heart of the route is a loop covering just under 100 kilometres. There is also a number of shorter circuits, which are perfect for anyone looking to divide the route up into day trips. When the weather hots up, the bathing lakes and outdoor pools are ideal for cooling down and there's plenty of variety on offer in the towns and villages that are home to many Medieval buildings.
