Around 120 short films are being screened in Bamberg as part of the 22nd Bamberg Short Film Festival. Among the venues is the former UFA-Kinocenter, one of several historical cinemas in the town. It is oldest film theatre in Bamberg and situated in Bamberg Old Town, which was awarded UNESCO World Heritage status in 1993.
