It is Europe Day on 9 May 2012 – and to celebrate peace and unity in Europe, activities and events are being held in Berlin and throughout the rest of Germany. This annual event aims to give people a sense of European unity and make them feel part of Europe, and features panel discussions, plays and much more besides.
