Set in an idyllic location in the Sauerland mountains not far from the Ruhr area, Fort Fun adventure park is one of the region's top attractions. With a fantastic combination of high-speed rides, entertaining shows and beautiful countryside, Fort Fun is a popular destination, especially with families. The park has a total of more than 40 attractions, including highlights such as the 'Trapper Slider', a 1.3km high-speed toboggan run and 'Wild Eagle', a sky glider that launches you into the air off a hilltop at more than 80 km/h. In addition to the rides, the programme of entertainment also includes a great family show. More and more visitors are choosing to stay at Davy Crockett Camp in the forest right next to the park. Here, you can sleep like they did in the Wild West in cosy Canadian log cabins for 6-8 people complete with bathroom and kitchen, suitable for families, schools, groups and clubs.
