Wadden Sea World Natural Heritage
Covering an area of 4,430 square kilometres from the Elbe estuary to the Danish border, the Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea UNESCO World Natural Heritage and biosphere reserve is a truly remarkable landscape, large areas of which have been designated a national park, and remain in an unspoilt, natural state to this day.
