The Rothaarsteig Trail is a chance for walkers to get back to nature as they cross the unspoilt ridge of the Rothaargebirge hills. The Bruchhausen Stones and the sources of the Ruhr, Eder, Sieg, Lahn and Dill rivers are just some of the natural features along the trail.

Borbergs Kirchhof
On a ledge of Mount Borberg (669m), an early medieval hill fort has been discovered, with ringed ramparts to the north. One of the castle gates has been reconstructed. Borberg was a site of religious significance in the early Middle Ages and is still a popular place of pilgrimage today.
