Until 29 July 2012, the focus is firmly on fairytales in Rotkäppchenland ('Little Red Riding Hood country') in the state of Hessen. There are many different events during the fun-packed festival week and the towns along the German Fairytale Route are a real draw for families with children. What with music, themed guided tours and storytelling, Little Red Riding Hood country certainly lives up to its name!
