Tutankhamun in Frankfurt

Major exhibitions in Germany have never been more exciting thanks to the use of multimedia presentation concepts and enthralling displays. The touring exhibition 'Tutankhamun – His Tomb and His Treasures', which runs until summer in Frankfurt, illustrates this perfectly, whisking visitors back in time to the excavation of the Pharaoh's tomb. On 3 February 2012, and on every first Friday of the month, the King Tut exhibition opens from 7pm to midnight for a special 'club night' featuring short lectures and additional entertainment.

The famous bust of Nefertiti and the reconstructed Pergamon Altar are on display in the museums on Berlin Museum Island.
